IS THAT A BEARD?...

Today is friday, i have no class, and it's raining. my morning has consisted of eating 4 clementines, watching the office on hulu, and going on daytrotter for 3 hours. While i was discovering my new musical obsession, i suddenly was hit with the revelation that not everyone with a mustache or any facial hair for that matter looks good in it. so, today i am going to ramble about one facial hair faux pas, the horrible, the scary, and the extremely confusing FLESH BEARD!


 The Flesh Beard (thank you to my lovely friend Alex Wolf for introducing me to this term.)
-This is faux pas is simpily defined as having a beard that is the same color as your skin.
-This is one of the most interesting and horrible cases of facial hair because from far away it looks like you are a clean shaven man (or woman) but up close i have no idea how to explain the emotions i feel when i see a true flesh beard.
-We all sadly know who Spencer Pratt is from the overly dramatic reality tv show The Hills, and we all know how awkward his beard was. Does he have a beard or not? Why is it the same color as his flesh? Does he have some weird flesh eating bacteria that makes his face have strange flesh color spikes protrude from his skin? Whatever it is Spencer, please shave it off!
